The director and producer of Final Fantasy 14, Naoki Yoshida, confirmed that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version will support keyboard and mouse controls, including the Joy-Con 2. Yoshida praised the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware for its versatility, noting its ability to support different playstyles for various in-game activities. The MMORPG is slated for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in August.
