Good Smile Company and Chime Corporation announced that Patlabor the Case Files, a 3D action game in the Patlabor series, will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on September 17, 2026. This marks the franchise's return to gaming after its last title, Patlabor: Come Back Mini-Pato, was released for the PlayStation Portable in 2005.
