Square Enix has revealed new details for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, focusing on its battle system and monster synthesis mechanics. Players will assemble parties of up to eight monsters, issuing direct orders or general strategies. The game features over 500 monsters, with synthesis allowing players to combine monsters to create stronger offspring with inherited talents and potentially higher ranks. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World is set to release on Nintendo Switch on December 3, 2026.
