The World Ocean Day Festival returns to Steam from June 4th-11th, 2026, featuring a game sale and charity initiative by Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) to support marine life. The event aims to unite the gaming community for ocean conservation, with participating developers pledging at least 10% of net revenue. Previous editions have raised over £1 million for marine conservation efforts.

Life Below is a new city-builder game focused on ocean conservation and ecosystem management. Players are tasked with rebuilding underwater environments threatened by pollution and natural disasters. The game features a narrative written by Rhianna Pratchett and offers a relaxing resource management experience.
LIFE BELOW PARTNERS WITH WHALE AND DOLPHIN CONSERVATION TO SUPPORT OCEAN LIFE
Publisher Kasedo Games and developer Megapop have partnered with Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) for the reef-building game Life Below. A special supporter pack, with 100% of net revenue going to WDC, will introduce unique dolphin and porpoise species to the game. Life Below is set to launch on Steam for Windows PC on May 26, 2026.
