EA Sports FC 27 introduces meaningful changes to its career mode, particularly with an overhauled transfer system that makes negotiations more deliberate and engaging. On-pitch gameplay also sees improvements, offering both arcadey and more simulation-focused styles, with the latter providing greater control and tactical depth. However, the new social hub, The Grounds, feels underdeveloped and lacks content, with stiff movement and awkward cutscenes, making it the game's most disappointing addition.
