Pokemon Pokopia director explains why Ditto was chosen as the game’s protagonist

Pokemon Pokopia director Shigeru Ohmori explained the decision to feature Ditto as the game's protagonist, citing its transformation ability and the desire for the player character to have the same scale as other Pokemon. Ohmori also mentioned that Ditto's stylized, big-headed proportions fit well within the game's block-based terrain design. Pokemon Pokopia is available on Nintendo Switch.
