Original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Breath of Fire IV get Steam releases
Capcom has re-released the original versions of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and Breath of Fire IV on Steam. These classic titles, co-developed with GOG, are currently available at a 50% discount until April 15th. The Steam versions include enhancements for modern operating systems and controllers while preserving the original gameplay experiences.
Re-Releases Go Too Far with New PS5 Version of Darksiders 1
THQ Nordic has announced a PlayStation 5 version of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, a remaster of the original PS3 action game, set to release on May 19th. This current-gen version appears to be a straightforward re-release with no significant enhancements for the PlayStation 5 hardware. The original Darksiders: Warmastered Edition for PS4 received an 8/10 rating in 2016.
