At least 1,200 Ubisoft workers strike in response to recent restructuring
Over 1,200 Ubisoft employees participated in a three-day international strike in response to recent restructuring, studio closures, and game cancellations. Union representatives criticized management's decisions and the lack of pay raises, while Ubisoft stated the changes aim to strengthen team autonomy and ensure long-term sustainability. The strike also addressed the company's five-day-a-week return-to-office mandate.
