Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the first film 'shot for Screen X,' as director says it's "something truly unique that nobody has experienced before"
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the first film to be shot specifically for the ScreenX panoramic format, with director Destin Daniel Cretton confirming that footage was captured on set for the 270° viewing experience. While the film will not have IMAX screenings due to Tom Holland's other project, The Odyssey, it aims to offer a unique cinematic experience when it releases on July 31.
