PlayStation 5 Players Surprised With New Accessories, Out Soon

Sony has announced two new audio accessories for the PlayStation 5: the PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset and the Pulse Edge Wireless Headset. Both feature upgraded planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link connectivity for lossless, low-latency audio. The Pulse Edge model offers additional premium features like active noise cancellation and built-in game audio/chat balance controls. The standard headset is expected this holiday season, with the Pulse Edge following in early 2027.
