Co-creator Destin Daniel Cretton expressed confusion and heartbreak over the cancellation of the Disney Plus series Wonder Man, stating that Marvel boss Kevin Feige also loved the show. Cretton suggested that the cancellation was due to business reasons rather than a lack of interest from Feige. Co-creator Andrew Guest confirmed the cancellation was not a marketing stunt and that no movie is in the works.
