Despite cancelling the Spider-Noir series, Amazon and Sony are reportedly developing four new Spider-Man television shows. One project is nearing a series order, with creators Kelvin Yu, Alison Tatlock, Ben H. Winters, Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Megan McDonnell attached to potential projects. Amazon has access to over 900 Marvel characters for these potential series.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 4 is reportedly in development with plans to begin pre-production in fall and filming in early 2027, though it has not yet received an official greenlight. Season 3 is set to premiere on November 11. Separately, two new Lord of the Rings films are in the works: The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, directed by Andy Serkis, and another film set after The Return of the King co-written by Stephen Colbert.
