You can unlock Platinum Points for starting GameChat
Nintendo is offering 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points to users who start GameChat on the Nintendo Switch 2 before April 22nd. This promotion allows players to earn points for in-game user icons, but requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership as the free trial period for GameChat has ended.
Nintendo Really Wants You To Press Switch 2's GameChat Button
Nintendo is encouraging Nintendo Switch 2 owners to use the system's GameChat voice and video features through a limited-time "Missions & Rewards" event. Users can unlock theme icons by completing the GameChat setup and pressing the C Button on their right Joy-Con, with icons available for purchase with Platinum Points until April 2026. Access to GameChat now requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.
