The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration has closed its investigation into Tesla's remote parking features, citing minor issues and low-speed incidents. The probe, which began in January 2025, examined the Actual Smart Summon feature after 159 reported incidents, less than one percent of total usage. Tesla has since implemented over-the-air updates to improve camera visibility and object detection.
