BeamNG.drive, a popular vehicle sandbox game, has received a major graphics and lighting overhaul in its latest update. The patch introduces more stable shadows, HDR output support, physically correct light attenuation, dynamic ambient lighting, and an accurate night sky based on astronomical data. The game's user interface has also been revamped with a new pause menu, improved gamepad functionality, and a revamped replay UI, alongside an overhauled photo mode and new vehicle, the Cherrier Ardente. A PlayStation 5 version is also reportedly in development.
