The Nintendo Switch 2 sold nearly 6 million units in its first full year in the U.S., making it the second fastest-selling video game system in the U.S. since 1995, behind only the Game Boy Advance. It was also the best-selling hardware platform in May and year-to-date for 2026, with Nintendo games like Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream charting in the top ten.
