Embark have been replacing Arc Raiders' AI voice lines with real people, but that doesn't mean they've sworn off using it behind the scenes
Embark Studios is replacing some AI-generated voice lines in Arc Raiders with those performed by real actors, acknowledging a quality difference. CEO Patrick Söderlund stated that while AI is still used as a production tool, they compensate actors for their time and licensing of their voices for less critical audio elements.
