Playground Games has confirmed that Fable will be released on PlayStation 5 on February 23, 2027. An expansion titled Fable: Order of the Hero has also been confirmed, adding a new region to the game and focusing on a dark, ancient cult. The Premium Edition of Fable will include early access and additional in-game content.

Playground Games announced the first expansion for the Fable reboot, titled "Order of the Hero," which will launch after the main game. The Fable reboot is scheduled for release on February 23, 2027, for Xbox and PC, with Hayley Atwell confirmed to voice the main villain.
