Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature more complex car theft mechanics than previous titles, requiring players to use in-game tools like the WAINK scanner on their phone to assess a vehicle's security, value, and registration costs. Rockstar Games' Rob Nelson explained that these changes aim to add more depth and decision-making to the gameplay, making each vehicle feel more meaningful. The game will also feature narrower, more realistic streets and denser traffic, increasing the challenge of driving.
