Developer Arc System Works has clarified that the upcoming PlayStation 5 fighter Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will feature gameplay within its 10-hour story mode, contrary to earlier reports. While the narrative will be presented through comic book panels, playable battles will be incorporated to enhance interactivity. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka stated that the story mode is designed for casual enjoyment, similar to reading a comic, with interactive elements and PS5's haptic feedback.
