Nintendo has officially announced Metroid Ravenous, a new 2D Metroid game that has been rumored for some time. The game sees Samus stranded underground, facing a mysterious group, lava, and giant worms. It appears to be a follow-up to Metroid Dread and is set to release on January 28th for the Nintendo Switch.
