Onimusha: Way Of The Sword hands-on preview – another successful Capcom reboot
Capcom is reviving the Onimusha series with Onimusha: Way of the Sword, a reboot built on the RE Engine. The game features deep, visually spectacular combat inspired by samurai mythology and historical Japan, with players controlling the heroic samurai Musashi. It will be released on September 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
