Resident Evil Requiem's made over $500m since release, but the new film didn't have as big of an impact as Capcom's price drops
Resident Evil Requiem has surpassed $500 million in sales, making it the most successful game in the series to date. Despite the new film's strong opening weekend, it had a minimal impact on game sales, which were more significantly affected by Capcom's frequent discounts. The film did, however, provide a temporary boost to player counts for older Resident Evil titles.
