PS3, PS Vita’s Online Stores Will Go Offline Beginning August 2026
Sony announced that the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will be shut down in stages, with final closures occurring in July 2027. While users will no longer be able to purchase new games, previously bought digital content will remain downloadable. This decision aims to reallocate resources towards newer PlayStation platforms.
