Vampire Crawlers turns Vampire Survivors into a dungeon-crawling card game with mixed success
Vampire Crawlers attempts to translate the addictive gameplay of Vampire Survivors into a first-person dungeon-crawling card game. While it captures some of the spirit and offers familiar nods, the turn-based card combat mechanics create a stop-start experience that lacks the real-time, overwhelming enemy swarm feel of its predecessor. Developed by Nosebleed with input from Vampire Survivors creator Poncle, the game shows promise but feels somewhat fractured between its two genres.
