1348 Ex Voto presents a visually appealing world with strong acting and historically inspired combat animations, but ultimately fails to deliver on its initial promise. The game suffers from shallow combat, repetitive mission structures, and numerous bugs and glitches that detract from the experience. While the narrative attempts to subvert tropes, it often leaves interesting concepts underdeveloped.
