Developers behind the upcoming horror game Prove You're Human are intentionally leaning into the "uncomfortable uncanniness" of hyper-realistic graphics. Creative director Remy Siu and Black Tabby Publishing co-founder Tony Howard-Arias believe the uncanny valley is a strength of the medium, especially as games pursue photorealism. The game, which features an AI robot desperately trying to convince the player it's human, is available to wishlist on Steam.
