After Killing Off Microtransactions, RuneScape Raises Subscription Prices

Developer Jagex is increasing the monthly subscription price for its 25-year-old MMO, RuneScape, from $14 to $15 per month, effective April 9. This change follows the recent removal of microtransactions from the game. While players on a grandfathered rate will not see their prices change, they must maintain an active monthly subscription to keep it.
