Embark Studios clarified that Arc Raiders does not feature real-time AI learning from player behavior, but the developers do use player data to implement AI upgrades. Machine learning research lead Martin Singh-Blom explained that game developers observe player actions and incorporate changes to improve enemy behaviors, such as making flying drones more effective.
