A bug in Final Fantasy 14's Patch 7.5 caused an unreleased otter backpack item to appear in players' inventories if they already owned the Black Embroidered Parasol, due to a mistaken internal ID configuration. Square Enix has apologized for the inconvenience and plans to remove the backpack in an upcoming hotfix, with the item's intended release method remaining unclear.
