Death Stranding movie director promises we're "not gonna see a lot of jaws getting ripped off" after his gory Robin Hood flick, as preparations for next year's filming continue
Director Michael Sarnoski has stated that the upcoming Death Stranding movie adaptation will honor the game's bleak post-apocalyptic setting but will feature less graphic violence than his previous film, The Death of Robin Hood. Filming is scheduled to begin next year in Iceland and Northern Ireland, with Sarnoski having recently submitted a second draft of the script. Additionally, an animated Death Stranding film is in development with Aaron Guzikowski for a 2027 release on Disney Plus.
