Despite rumors of a delay due to Grand Theft Auto 6's upcoming release, Playground Games and Microsoft are maintaining that the Fable reboot is still on track for an autumn 2026 launch. Industry insider Jeff Grubb suggested the game might be pushed internally, potentially into 2027, to avoid direct competition with Rockstar's highly anticipated title.
