Final Fantasy 14 Is Coming To Switch 2, But With An Annoying Caveat
Final Fantasy XIV is confirmed to be launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 in August, but will require a separate subscription distinct from PC, Xbox, and PlayStation versions. While not needing a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, players will receive discounts on the separate Switch 2 subscription if they already subscribe on other platforms. The game's next expansion, Evercold, is slated for a January 2027 release.
