A dedicated Final Fantasy XIV player known as RathGames has completed a three-year solo challenge of the game's extensive free trial, including the Shadowbringers expansion. Despite needing to use alternate accounts for some alliance raids, the player successfully cleared all main story trials, including the final boss of Shadowbringers after a three-day struggle. This achievement demonstrates the feasibility of soloing much of the game's content under challenging self-imposed rules.
