Sony Interactive Entertainment announced two new God of War projects during the February 2026 State of Play: God of War Sons of Sparta, a 2D side-scroller shadow-dropped today on PS5 for $29.99, and a God of War Trilogy Remake currently in development. Santa Monica Studio contributed to the story of Sons of Sparta, while TC Carson reprises his role as Kratos for both projects.
