GTA 6 will run at only 30fps but Performance mode could still happen
Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch with a 30 frames per second performance target on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While a 60fps option is not guaranteed at launch, the studio is still consulting its technical team about the possibility for the future. This frame rate is considered reasonable given the game's graphical detail and genre, with Rockstar's previous title, Red Dead Redemption 2, also not featuring a 60fps mode.
