Netflix's Assassin's Creed television series is now in production, set in Rome during 64 AD, approximately 1,400 years before the events of Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood. The series will feature an original story and star Noomi Rapace, with Johan Renck directing. This setting predates Assassin's Creed Origins by over a century.
