Marathon is adding one of its most requested features this week, but with a catch

Bungie is introducing a limited-time duos queue for its game Marathon as an experimental feature. Game director Joe Ziegler confirmed the test will run for two weeks starting March 18, focusing on the Perimeter map and premade teams of two. This feature is a direct response to player requests since the closed alpha, with Bungie aiming to gather feedback for future implementation.
