Mortal Shell 2 will let you lower its difficulty by making executions refill your health, or up the challenge by turning off the sun

Mortal Shell 2 will offer players flexible difficulty options through special items rather than traditional modes. The Slayer Seal allows health and resolve regeneration through executions, similar to Doom (2016), while the Gloombound Flame enables a 'Night Mode' that turns off the sun and introduces new challenges. Other items like the Untarnished Seal and Vatra's Seal offer alternative combat mechanics such as parrying or temporary hardening.
