Nintendo takes the U.S. government to court over tariffs
Nintendo's U.S. subsidiary has filed a lawsuit against the United States government seeking refunds for tariffs imposed during the Trump administration, which were later ruled unlawful. The company argues these tariffs disrupted business, including the rollout of the Nintendo Switch 2, and led to increased prices for accessories and older hardware. Nintendo is requesting a full refund with interest.
