No Man’s Sky update 6.4, titled The Swarm, is a community expedition update built around a new alien threat

Hello Games has released the 'The Swarm' update for No Man's Sky, introducing a new community expedition focused on fighting a large alien threat. Players can join one of three factions to collectively build the Prismatic Core and defeat the Hive of Glass mothership. The update also brings new enemy types, rewards like the Direwasp armour set, and improvements to space combat and quality of life.
