Path of Exile 2 is about to get more generous, but it almost went the opposite way: "This is going to sound ultra dumb"
Grinding Gear Games is increasing the drop rate of Divine Orbs in Path of Exile 2's upcoming 'Return of the Ancients' update. Game Directors Jonathan Rogers and Mark Roberts explained that the change aims to make the currency less comparable to previous leagues, where specific strategies led to extremely high Divine Orb counts. The developers humorously considered removing Divines entirely before opting for a more common drop rate.
