Hoyster Games has announced Rex: Into the Shadow Realm, a fast-paced vertical shooter for the Commodore Amiga, serving as a sequel to Rex and the Galactic Plague. The game features two distinct campaigns, a risk-and-reward credit economy for upgrades, and is being developed using the Scorpion Engine. A public demo is planned for June 2026, with the full release in Autumn 2026.
