The modders behind the unofficial Oblivion remake, Skyblivion, have confirmed they will not be releasing the project without a prior announcement, despite the project's decade-long development and recent delays. Communications lead Evan Flatt stated that a release date will be revealed when the team is ready, ruling out a 'shadow drop' approach. The team is still working towards a release in the first half of 2026, with the Imperial City being the final major settlement to complete.
