Paradox Interactive is releasing the Stellaris Nomads DLC on June 15, introducing nomadic empires that are not tied to planets. This fundamental gameplay shift allows players to manage their empire from a mobile Arkship, which serves as a colony, shipyard, and more. The DLC also includes new origins and will be accompanied by the Stellaris 4.4 'Pegasus' update.
