Surprise PS5 Feature Update Adds Cool New Home Screen
Sony has released a surprise PlayStation 5 update introducing a new Welcome Hub feature that displays a Grand Theft Auto VI animation upon startup. This server-side update, which cannot be manually downloaded, is the first of its kind for the current generation and signifies a significant marketing partnership with Rockstar Games. The Grand Theft Auto VI theme also extends to the PlayStation Store and the PS App.
