Sword Art Online Console Series Surpasses 10 Million Units Sold
The Sword Art Online console game series has surpassed 10 million units sold worldwide, Bandai Namco announced. To celebrate, a new illustration was released and the next game, Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad, will launch on July 10, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This new title features character customization, real-time action combat, and a "Death Game Mode" where dying results in permanent character deletion.
