An in-development Amiga port of the classic 1986 MSX game 'The Goonies' is being created as a tribute to the original title's 40th anniversary. This homebrew project, built with the Scorpion Engine, aims to leverage the Amiga's hardware for enhanced graphics, scrolling, and sound while retaining the adventurous platforming gameplay. An updated alpha version (v0.2.5) has been released, featuring recreated assets, improved color palettes, new screens, and functional gameplay systems like a score and experience bar.
