The Legend of Zelda movie's Link, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, couldn't play Breath of the Wild because of his age (and the lack of a Switch)
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who will play Link in the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie, revealed he couldn't play Breath of the Wild at launch due to his age and not owning a Nintendo Switch. The 17-year-old actor watched playthroughs instead and later familiarized himself with the series' extensive history. The Legend of Zelda movie is set for a 2027 release, with Wes Ball directing.
