Sony is rolling out an upgraded version of its PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology for the PlayStation 5 Pro, starting with Resident Evil Requiem. This enhancement, developed in partnership with AMD, will also be available as a system-level toggle for existing PSSR-supported games via a March system software update. The new PSSR leverages dedicated upscaling hardware and offers further refinement for PS5 Pro players.
